Manchester City suffered their first League defeat this season this as Liverpool showed they’re still a force without Coutinho.
Oxlade-Chamberlain latched into a Firmono assist in the 9th minute just to clean up the scoreboard, and the scoreline remained the same till the 40th minute when Sane equalized for Manchester City. Liverpool however went into break looking the better side.
They continued their form in the second hand looking even more dangerous. This saw Liverpool score an amazing three goals in just 10 minutes making Ederson look cueless. Goals from Firmino in the 59th, Mane in the 61st and Salah in the 68th left Manchester City feeling very dizzy.
However two late goals from Silva (84th) and Gundogan (90th) prevented the scoreline from looking completely embarrassing.
The match ended Liverpool 4, Man City 3.
Perhaps, the Citizens are not invisible after all. The question is, will other teams develop the confidence to deal Man City with more blows?
